Calibre and second Kindle

I bought my nephew a K3 for Christmas and I plan to keep him on my account so I can help him decide what books to get. However, I use Calibre to manage my own collection and would like to use Calibre to manage his also but when I connect his K3 to my PC, Calibre never sees it. What am I doing wrong?

there is a calibre forum here and I am reasonably certain that the designer checks in there. I would suggest posting your concern there. good luck and welcome to the forums!

What version of calibre are you using? If it is an old version it might pre-date the addition of K3 support.
