Metadata download API , regarding identify method.
in metadata download API http://manual.calibre-ebook.com/plug...a.sources.base i see no ref to a 'matches = [] ' list that i see to the code of many plugins i checked.
What's its purpose? Shoudlnt code use the documented: result_queue – A result Queue, results should be put into it. Each result is a Metadata object ? Thanks , Alexandros |

The word matches does not occur anywhere in the metadata download plugin api. If you are seeing it in other plugins, it is part of the code those plugin use internally and is not part of the API.
