.epub unconventional formatting attempt

I have an old Sony 505, which sadly, has been damaged. The top half of the screen is no longer usable as its been cracked, but the bottom half works fine. I was thinking about using Calibre to format an .epub with a top margin of something like 200 pt so that the reader would display the entire book on the bottom half, leaving it still functional, however Calibre limits the top margin to only 99 pt. Is there any other way to get around this or a different way to accomplish the same thing?

Thanks.

Use something else to edit the file with? You could use Sigil, for example. Even if you aren't familiar with the nitty-gritty of CSS and XHTML, just save the calibre version with the 99pt top margin, open it in Sigil, look for the bit near the top with the margin entry and make the change from "99" to "200".

You could use OpenOffice.org Writer to make pdf files.
Just set the page size 90x115mm and set margins as you wish. Then export the file into pdf. Open pdf in reader and read ...
