Short Fiction Akutagawa, Ryunosuke: Rashoumon. [Japanese] v1. 9-28-2009

This is a Japanese text version of Akutagawa's (芥川) Rashoumon (羅生門). It is basically the same version that is available from Feedbooks, but I've embedded the open source "Kochi Gothic" Japanese font into the file, so that it will automatically display correctly using e-readers (at least the Sony Readers).

One issue, however, is that although the book will display correctly when reading, the title will appear only as place-holder characters in the book menu, because the reader lacks a Japanese font.

Because of the embedded font, which is large, the epub file is also large.

An English version of the story is also available on Feedbooks.

10/11/2009 - uploaded a version with "(rashoumon + font)" appended to the title, so that something readable will appear even on reading systems that don't have japanese fonts.

if an admin could edit the title of this thread to add "(Japanese)" after the book's title, in order to indicate that this is a japanese version, i'd appreciate it. i couldn't edit it myself.
