Is there an android 4:3 aspect, 10-11-12 inch tablet out there for PDFs?

Hi everyone, is there a 10-11-12 inch tablet with 4:3 aspect ratio which does not suck? I need it for viewing letter-A4 PDF files (academic articles from working paper series and journals, mostly) and anything widescreen is usless du to width: even my nice 11.6 laptop screen in portrait mode is too small for rendering readable letter/A4 PDFs.
I had a Kindle DX but I need to underline and highlight and screibble notes. I'm looking at an ipad, but I'm not interested in paying the apple premium, plus the 9.7 in screen makes just about readable.
Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Viewsonic G. Regular price is $399. Sears had it for $199 a week or so ago. $100 if you were tricky.

The 4:3 aspect ratio is now rare for LDC screens, so most are going to be widescreen, like the Viewsonic G.

It isn't Android (its Ubuntu), but the Kno tablet might be what you are looking for it has 1 or 2 14.1" 1440-by-900 WXGA LCD screens.

The iPad has produced some interest in 4:3 screens, and Pixel Qi, for example, has said they will be producing 9.7" screens (probably 1024-by-768-pixel, like the iPad).

The Viewsonic G appears to be 16x9 widescreen at 1024x600, not 4x3.

Have you first tried out RepliGo Reader. I was amazed at how well this reader does with PDFs that have pictures and small text. It has a "Page View" mode which is the standard view - you can zoom and pan. It also has the "Reading view" which does a very nice job of resizing the text and reflowing it on the page. It adjust to portrait and landscape mode and really zooms in on the graphics.

I have a Pandigital 7' Color (Black version w/ Droid 1.5) and I think it does a better job than my Netbook (That is viewing PDF's via RepliGo Reader)

Try it out - you have nothing to lose.

You might want to wait for the new Acer tablets.
10.1" and 7" widescreen models each with 1280x800 display resolutions.

The palm topaz is 9.7 and 4:3 (1024x768). Hopefully OEMs will stop their fixation on 16:9 and start copying industry leaders...

Yep, that's true. Best student tablet. But it would have been better with Honeycomb.
