This looks like a Romance novel, perhaps with some soft porn thrown in. (Not that there's anything wrong with that.)

Thank you for this - I love a good hysterical romance

and, as Kindle for PC has just been upgraded, I have finally downloaded it and this was my first purchase. I'm pretty impressed so far, although is it normal that the books dont have page numbers? I usually read epubs in Adobe Digital Editions and they do in there. I've found the progress bar along the bottom of the screen, and the bookmark (cute), which will help if there are no numbers.

No page numbers - meaningless in an e-world, as the font size, page/window size and margins can change at any moment. Instead, Kindle uses locations, which never change in an edition - tell someone to go to location 2972 and it's always the same place, no matter which kindle device or app and regardless of the font they choose.

My review:

_Mistress by Mistake_ by Maggie Robinson (romance). A courtesan leaves her new protector in favor of marriage to an earl's heir, taking a very valuable heirloom necklace with her. She tricks her sister into visiting, and leaves her for her lover. Nice, eh? So he comes home and has sex with his new mistress...not knowing he has the wrong woman. Nice, eh? And he's got this stalker of a sort of ex-wife. Nice, eh? I'm sure you can imagine how pissed off the sister (our heroine) is about all of this If you can deal with the scummy set-up, the characters are likable enough, Robinson writes well, and the book sizzles it is so hot.

Thanks Koland. I wondered what "locations" meant when I saw it last night, but it all makes sense now!
