Hello,

For some time I've been putting up my previously-published short stories as ebooks. I'm releasing two a month. One will be a stand-alone story (or group of stories); the other one of my Frigate Victory stories. Today I'll post links to the latest of each. Each week I'll mention a new story or one that's already available. Here's the most recent offering:

Daniel and Tamara were supposed to be part of humanity’s effort to settle distant planets. Instead they spend their lives going forward in time, passing along news and entertaining colonists. They wonder if they’re making a difference. Then they come to a colony that’s taking a dark turn. Will their skills help or hurt their effort at change?

A new group of three SF stories are now on sale. These are a little more upbeat that some of the other non-Victory stories of late...

Hope For The Future (Three short stories, 5700 words total):

The Black Flowers: The leader of a colony on an icy world asks his Marshal to plant some black flowers on the surface of the planet. Why would he make such a request? Why is it so hard for the Marshal to comply?

Different Risks: A Felith crusier enters Republic space. An officer tells Captain Ayers that his commander has gone insane. Is this why the treaty between them has been violated? Or are things not quite as they seem? How can Captain Ayers keep the peace while keeping the Republic safe?
