Smith, E.E. "Doc": Skylark Three - v 1 - 21 May 07

The last of the PD Doc Smith books that I have found, this one was published in three parts in 1930 as the sequel to The Skylark of Space.

All of the original covers are included and of special note is the one just before the start of Chapter VII that shows the then recently completed Chrysler Building in New York City.

This was written before the great "Lensman" series which incorporated parts of this book into it.

The original had 54 downloads.

Duke, my Mother did throw away the baseball cards and the comic books; but, she would never throw away a book. (Now my Father would take some books if he thought it was better that he read them than I read them.)

I think destroying the Chrysler building has become the running gag of SF :-)

Uploaded version 2 with corrections to the author name. Seems that "Doc" messed up the software and did not display properly on the Reader.

I found that myself a while ago; double quotes in any of the "metadata" fields messes up on the Reader. If you use single quotes it works fine.

It doesn't affect the book. Just means that the "author" field shows up as blank on the book index page of the Reader.
