Eschbach - welches denn?

Habe gerade beim Aufraeumen eine alte Liste mit Lesevorschlaegen gefunden. Muss schon ein paar Jahre rumliegen.

Einer der Autoren ist Andreas Eschbach. Habe den mal kurz gegoogelt und bin immer noch nicht sicher ob ich den lesen will.

Auf der Liste war "ausgebrannt" aber er hat ja nun ein paar andere Buecher raus.

Vorschlag mit welchem ich anfangen soll? Danke

"Ausgebrannt" ist doch recht gut und immer noch aktuell.
"Quest" hat mir allerdings auch gut gefallen, könnte aber nicht jedermanns Geschmack sein.

Da gibts aber z.B. noch "Das Jesus-Video" von Eschbach. Wurde übrigens verfilmt und bereits im TV gezeigt.

*Seufz* - klasse dass Ihr all so fleissig die Titel vorschlagt. Ich werde jetzt einfach mal schauen welche Buecher er wann geschrieben hat. Dann fange ich mit dem Ersten an und arbeite mich langsam durch.

Eschbach kann ich wirklich nur empfehlen! Die Reihenfolge ist aber unwichtig da er keinerlei Serien oder zusammenhängende Stories geschrieben hat.

Ausgebrannt ist Spitze! Empfehlenswert auch der "Billionen Dollar Mann". Die älteren wie Kelwitts Stern oder Quest sind zwar nicht schlecht aber nicht mit den neueren zu vergleichen.

"Die Haarteppichknüpfer" und "Quest" kann ich als Einstieg bei Eschbach nur empfehlen. Das die neueren Bücher in irgendeiner Art "besser" wären, halte ich für eine subjektive Betrachtungsweise - das muss aber wohl jeder für sich selbst herausfinden. Eschbach hatte von Beginn an einen duchdachten und von Buch zu Buch variierenden aber manchmal auch gewöhnungsbedürftigen Schreibstil. Bei ihm ist also auch stilistisch jedes Buch zumindest etwas "anders" als das vorherige.
