e-book recommendations for gifts
I've decided to buy some e-books for my mother this Christmas and need some ideas. She likes the Carol Higgins Clark mystery books and some of the NYT best sales type books (Bossy Pants, Piano Demon, Unbroken, The Hangman's Daughter, Spoken from the Heart). It's hard to get a list of books that she might like from her, because she prefers to browse at the B&N.

You could get her a B&N eGiftCertificate, probably, and let her buy her own eBooks. Easy-peasy.

I wish. Unfortunately, she hasn't quite figured out how to do the online thing, so I normally buy the books for her and send them to her iPad. She uses the kindle reader to read.

Tough to guess what she might like. Depending on her tastes, you might try:
Nightspell by Leah Cypress The Moon Shadow Series by Maria Schneider A Heart in Sun and Shadow by Annie Bellet A Modern Witch by Debora Geary Take the Monkeys and Run by Karen Cantwell |

Just kidding of course... but only a little bit. Everyone should be able to buy ebooks for their own ereader (unless there's a disability involved, in which case I apologize profusely). |

She's in her late 70's and has trouble with remotes. Sometime older people struggle with technology.
