Converting .epub to .pdb file format

Hi everyone!

I was hoping the users of this forum would be able to assist with my challenge and questions below.

Challenge
========
Convert an .epub file to .pdb file retaining the presentation of the .epub file. I used Calibre to do this, and the .pdb file loaded on our Nook device does not retain the styles from the .epub file. Images don't render properly, font sizes vary and other presentation elements are all messed up.

Questions
========
  1. How do you create your .pdb files? From scratch using the Palm Markup Language or using some tool(s), Calibre e.t.c.?
  2. How do you edit a .pdf file? What tool do you use?
  3. What is the best tool for this process (epub to pdb)?

Any thoughts and guidance would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Hi ashalluri:

The Nook reads PDB --AND-- EPUB. No conversion necessary.

Suggestion: keep or obtain your "stuff" in EPUB format. This will give you the most versatility in the long run, such as transferring to other devices in the future.
