My wife got a color Nook & I got a WITS Android tablet from Santa and we are both enjoying reading on them. Calibre is a great help!

Have you tried putting the Kindle Whispersync or the B&N nook apps on your android? You can get tons of freebie books there p.s. here's the MR forum post that talks about the various apk's you can find for your android if you need non-market apks for the tablet! https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...le+android+apk Last edited by bookratt; 01-17-2011 at 03:01 PM. |

I have both kindle and B&N apps on the PC and Android. I am thinking about rooting the Nook and putting Kindle on that as well.
I am surprised that when I "bought" a bunch of free books from Amazon the Kindle app tells me that the license I "bought" only allows the document to be loaded on one device at a time. I guess I need to "buy" multiple copies? |
