Hmm she died in 1976... Are these out of copyright somewhere ?

Hmm, I rather doubt they are. I've sequestered the attachments until we can check the copyright status.

Sorry to do that to you on your first post, fdojose, but we have to be careful with this sort of thing. If you have information on these books being Public Domain, please do share it, as it would speed things up.

Oops. It looks like they're not PD. According to Gutenberg, only The Mysterious Affair at Styles and Secret Adversary are in the P.D.

Looks like they'll have to go.

Please understand that this site is strictly for the upload of "legit", out of copyright, material. We'll get shut down if we host illegal material. We have to stay strictly legal.

I, for one, appreciate the dedication to keeping this site legal.

While copyrights may seem chiefly to benefit large corporations, they do also benefit the individual authors and whether we like copyright law or wish it were changed or abolished, it does more good than harm.

Thank you for the diligence to keeping things legal -- I'd be heartbroken if this site were taken down due to copyright issues!
