You do not need a Kindle to read Kindle books.

Simply download the Kindle4PC app (free) and buy and read as many books as you like.......on your computer, of course.

Should you ever buy a Kindle, they will be downloadable to it...

Did a major publisher just jump in, more backlist titles, or just projected 2011 releases?

Number of Kindle title on track to double again this year.
# of titles will definitely break the 1 million mark next year!
Compare this to the 20+ million titles available in print and it's easy to see why it's easier to stand out when your book is available on the Kindle.

Ebook_Guy... If you go to the Amazon Website and look at ALL KINDLE BOOKS on the top is shows the current count. It is imperfect due to multiple copies of some books (mainly the classics) but it is the best method we have to gauge the trend.
