1280 x 800 display If this thing materializes, where is the market for the Nook Tablet or Kindle Fire? |

I just wonder when Asus' little gem will hit the shelves. That's an attractive little device. |

It sounds too good to be true, so I'd wait till it materializes.

We'll see if they do a better launch of this than the Transformer Prime. That sucker is only shipping for a few weeks and they already announced an improved version which fixes the major complaints (dumbest possible GPS & wifi problem with the metal case) and increases screen resolution. Hopefully it won't have screen bleed like many currrent Primes report as well! Who in their right mind is going to buy a Prime after that announcement, unless they have a burning need?

Me too, but it better have 3G or 4G. The whole advantage to a 7" tab is portability, and if it's in my pocket whilst I'm out and about it NEEDS to be connected. I can't be bothered searching for a hot spot! And at work there is no wifi.

Same here. If my calculations are correct, and assuming a square pixel, the resolution density is 215.63 dpi... Nice.

The model number of this new ASUS 7-inch tablet is M370T. Quad core with a 1280 x 800 display for $249—sweet!
I wish they'd come out with this last month. Many people (myself included) purchased a Kindle Fire or other 7-inch tablet just recently. I do think it'll be a huge seller, and I hope that ASUS can keep up with demand. |

I would much rather pay for mobile data once on my phone and connect a tablet to that if I need it. Most of my use for a tablet doesn't need any connection at all, though.
