actually something does happen *segfault* you just can't see it. needs rebuilding with the 2007q3 TC. (or at the very least the kindle 5 and later optimisations need to be ripped out of the build flags and a TC be used that spits out relevant code...) Quote:

https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho....php?p=1932094 since the gesture stuff is javaland stuff. Spoiler:
However the scraping method is current favourite AFAIK (unless Eureka is going to wade in with a "Knowledge Slap Down") |

Yeah. there will be two binaries anyways. FOR THE EXPLORER.
There HAS to be. to target the FB and X versions of the libs... I simply use a launcher script and scrape the uname -a, then from that determine which one to run. This is the same for LEAFPAD and KTERM. identical. I already have several gtk projects that are multiplatform (they just havent seen the light of day yet) that use this approach.... Of course you would need a copy of the k3 libs (much like your current /home/you/DEV/libs) and to point your build.sh at that. I will send you them. Last edited by twobob; 02-21-2013 at 09:44 PM. I have written dynamic button resizing for small screens, but I can't make commit.
Network error: Connection timed out WTF? Stupid sourceforge. OK, I connect via my mobile phone, and make commit Please, check it in different Kindles, I run it only on my desktop. |

Buttons resize fine. It would be nice to resize images too, as on KT they are too large.

Hmm, I'm resizing images. Don't undestend...
May be gdk_pixbuf_scale_simple doesn't work on Kindle? Last edited by anakod; 02-22-2013 at 03:13 PM. |
