Moon Reader : ich bin begeistert (ich muss nur dazu sagen, dass alle meine books in epub konvertiert sind). Bücher waren sofort alle da, die Optionen sind unendlich, die Handhabung sehr sehr einfach.

Es ist nicht so, dass ich nicht schon selber darüber nachgedacht hätte. Derzeit tendiere ich eher für ein neues Thema mit den gesammelten Tipps und Links, das dann oben angepinnt wird. Dann kann auch in dem ursprünglichen Thema weiter munter darauf los geschrieben werden.

Ich möchte das, aber aus verschiedenen Gründen nicht selber tun.

Soweit finde ich auch die Tipps noch überschaubar, dass man noch etwas warten kann.

Trotzdem wäre es vielleicht hilfreich, sich auf Fragen und Antworten zu beschränken, die sich unmittelbar mit dem Thema beschäftigen.

Ich halt jetzt auch schnell meine Klappe, also weiter mit den Tipps.

Der Android Emu für den PC macht schon absolut Sinn. Der IQ hat fast die gleiche Dimensionen in Breite und Länge (ist aber dicker) als der Kindle K2. Manche Covers könnten eventuell passen.
Meine M-Edge Cover für den K2 (der K2 habe ich nicht mehr) wird dementsprechen leicht modifiziert (schönes bastel Wochenende wird das) und ich werde dann berichten, was daraus geworden ist.

Habe ich auch so ähnlich gemacht.

Übrigens kann man sich recht einfach eine skin für den IQ basteln (also 600x800: vorhandene skin duplizieren+umbebennen, Hintergrund-PNGs strecken und "layout"-Werte anpassen), aber die Darstellung im Emulator MUSS nicht identisch mit der Anzeige auf dem IQ sein:
Ich hatte ein nettes kleines Spiel im Emu, das dann aber auf dem IQ nur die Hälfte des Displays füllte (vermutlich 240x320?).

Aja, und ich habe mir einmal die Emu 1.6 mit Market eingerichtet, sowie eine mit 2.0; übertragen kann man ja z.b. mit Astro. Die SD-IMGs sind mountbar, aber nicht "live" zu ändern (Neustart).
Die Emus hatte ich mir gemacht, um vor Eintreffen des bestellten IQ schon mal zu "üben" und zu suchen; momentan warte ich LEIDER auch wieder auf mein getauschtes (schluchz)...

(EDIT: bei Interesse würde ich die 600x800-skin auch per email "verschenken" )

Kann mir jemand sagen, wie ich in die Verwaltung aller installierten Apps komme, in die man nur kommt, wenn man gewarnt wird, dass man zu wenig Telefonspeicher hat? Da sind dann nämlich - im Gegensatz zur App-Verwaltung in den Settings - auch alle vorinstallierten Apps aufgeführt.

Ich glaube, da findet sich alles. Ist aber nicht genau das selbe, wie die andere Übersicht, oder doch?

Ich verstehe immer nur die Hälfte von deinen Tipps.

Das mit dem Emu verstehe ich noch gar nicht und was ist ein skin in diesem Zusammenhang?

wo bist Du stecken geblieben bei den Emu Erklärungen? ich erkläre es gern detaillierter, will aber niemandem zu nah treten. Wir emulieren anhand ein kleines Prog ein Android phone af dem PC. Da es aber verschiedenen Android Versionen gibt, gibt uns dieses Emu Prog die Möglichkeit, die Version zu emulieren, die wir brauchen. Dann installieren wir auf diesem "dummy-phone" der originale Android Market, und können dann alle android apps für diesen Phone drauf runterladen und testen. Dank eine kleine Datei von Dolansky (vielen Dank btw), lassen sich aus dem Emu diese apps als apk auch extrahieren. Dann die apk auf dem SD speichern und Hop auf dem IQ.
Was Clem mit dem homescreen meint ist das man auch als apk einen anderen Launcher benutzen kann, und da sind die Möglichkeiten der Homepage Darstellung grenzenlos.
Bei Bedarf kann ich eine how to der Emu Geschichte schreiben.

(Wobei ich persöhnlich wahrscheinlich zu ängstlich bin, so tiergreifend etwas an dem IQ zu ändern. Kommt man da auch wieder zurück?)
