zork goes native on Kindle

http://www.theregister.co.uk/2010/10/11/native_infocom/

this is appealing but I don't want to have to jailbreak hack my Kindle.

any views / info on when / if Amazon may legiitimise the whole thing.

The Zork game is public domain AFAIK, so that should not be an issue.

They already talked about this when they released kdk.
apps that don't use bandwidth will be free to download
apps that use minimal bandwidth (like <1 mb/month) will be free to download
apps that use more bandwidth (some threshold) will have a nominal charge 5$
apps that use lots of bandwidth (another threshold) will have a monthly charge ??

off the top of my head~~ somone who really cares can go find their post

I believe the app author applied for a KDK but it has not been approved (yet). I think amazon only provides the KDK for well established software companies and developers. Hence why he needed to go the hack route for now.
