Welches Buch lest Ihr denn gerade?

Mir ist gerade bei dem "Welche Musik hört Ihr denn gerade?" Thread die Idee zu einem "Welches Buch lest Ihr denn gerade?" Pendant gekommen. Wir sind hier ja schließlich in einem Bücherforum.

Welches Buch lest Ihr zur Zeit? Könnt Ihr es empfehlen?

Ich lese zurzeit Verbrechen und Strafe von Fjodor Dostojewskij in der neueren Übersetzung von Swetlana Geier. Bin so auf Seite 150 und bin von der Sprache Dostojewskijs wirklich ziemlich beeindruckt. Ein toller Schreibstil der auf mich wie ein Sog wirkt. Kann ich bis jetzt nur weiterempfehlen.

War lange Zeit mein Lieblingsbuch. Hab es in zwei Tagen gelesen, konnte mich davon nicht losreißen. Hat mich damals ziemlich stark mitgenommen.
Bin froh, dass man bei der Neu-Übersetzung von dem Titel "Schuld und Sühne" abgerückt ist. "Verbrechen und Strafe" ist die Direktübersetzung des Originaltitels.

Noch eine kleine Bemerkung zu den Namen der Protagonisten. Ich denke es ist schon wissenswert.

Raskolnikov - In dem Namen steckt das Wort "Raskol" - bedeutet im Russischen "Spaltung" bzw. "Raskolnik" bedeutet "Spalter".

Razumichin - Hier steckt das Wort "Razum" drin - bedeutet "Vernunft"

Auch in den anderen Namen stecken fast immer kleine Hinweise bzw. Anspielungen.


Ich lese gerade:

- "Herr Lehmann" von Sven Regener. Ich fand schon den Film großartig.
- "Der Simulant" von Chuck Palahniuk.

Als pbook lese ich grade "The Flames of Sunset" von Eric Flint und David Drake, den abschließenden Doppelband der "Belisarius"-Saga.

Seit Tagen "Der Antichrist" von Nietzsche, das "Seit Tagen" hängt daran, dass ich abends im Bett dauernd andere Sachen zu lesen habe, Parteiprogramme (nein, ich nehme dazu nicht eBookvarianten weil ich da mit Marker und Kugelschreiber arbeite), Ratgeber für Studienwahl (schreibe nächstes Jahr Abitur) Handbücher (HoI 3 ist da *freu*)

Ich lese immer so zwei, drei Bücher parallel:
- eines, das gut zwischendurch geht, wenn man nur so 5 Minuten hat, während man auf Bus und Co. wartet (derzeit Daniel Glattauer, 7 Wellen)
- eines mit mehr Hirn für gemütliche Abende (derzeit Die Blechtrommel)
- und ein englisches (derzeit der Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy)
Und ja, ich weiß schon, das passt alles nicht so wirklich zusammen

Natürlich passt das zusammen,
denn Daniel Glattauer hat schon viel Blech geschrieben und ich könnte ihn in die nächste Galaxy schicken.
Wobei "Gut gegen Nordwind" ist als Hörbuch (und das sage ich als Mann) wirklich klasse.

"Sieben Wellen" ist quasi die Fortsetzung von "Gut gegen Nordwind" (allerdings doch etwas schwächer). Dass das als Hörbuch gut ist, finde ich recht überraschend, denn das Buch kommt ja als Sammlung von E-Mails daher. Und dass ein Mann das alles gut findet, überrascht mich fast noch mehr

Die E-Mails werden auch von den entsprechenden (männlich/ weiblich) Personen gelesen.
Daher wirkt es eher wie ein Gespräch.

Den Post hatte ich ja völlig übersehen. Targor, hast Du schon mal was von FERIEN gehört?! Und was ist HoI??

Bin ich eigentlich der einzige Trivialleser hier? Ich hab gestern "Die Therapie" von Fitzek eingeschoben, fand es aber gar nicht so spannend. Und nachdem ich jetzt auch mit der Blechtrommel fertig bin, steht als nächstes Walter Moers "Die Stadt der träumenden Bücher" an.

Ich habe früher ziemlich viele Fantasybücher gelesen, jetzt aber auch nicht mehr so. Nach dem Dostojewskij nehme ich mir mal die neuübersetzte Version von Moby Dick vor (mehr als 1000 Seiten , perfekte Ferienlektüre).

Ferien ... Ferien ... Ferien ah ja, genau, das ist die Zeit wo ich vor lauter freier Schulzeit viel Zeit für Arbeiten zu Hause habe, wie etwa Lagerräume leerräumen, die unser ehemaliger Mieter in bescheidenem Zustand zurückgelassen hat oder helfen für die Zwillinge meiner Tante einen Spielturm zu bauen, von meiner Geschichtsfacharbeit ganz zu schweigen

Wesentlich weniger, mein persönliches Regal wahrscheinlich knappe 50, wenn ich die meiner Eltern dazu nehme wird's vierstellig (Perry Rhodan). Liegt vor Allem daran, dass ich noch vor zwei Jahren oft gesehener Gast in der örtlichen Bibliothek war.
