Never realized that the original Kobo had quotes. That's also something that could be updated and changed via daily sync or whenever one syncs the device with the desktop or wirelessly.

The reason the original Kobo, and Kobo Wi-Fi, had quotes was because the booting took a while; gave you something to look at -- but was classy, too.

How about "Ko-Beau."

I voted that I miss the happy face image (even though I haven't upgraded my fw to lose that image yet). There's no option for my Kobo's current state: older FW and still using my happy face image, happily.

And I have never liked those quotations from way back when.

I don't get it. Normally I get British humour but this one escapes me (though I feel that I should at least understand it).

Ken and Beau both seem good choices. Ken for the alliteration, Beau for the punning. Either way it works.
