Rise and shine and give God your glory, glory!
Rise and shine and give God your glory, glory! Rise and shine and give God your glory, glory! Children of the Lord. The Lord said to Noah, "There's gonna be a floody, floody." Lord said to Noah, "There's gonna be a floody, floody." "Get those children out of the muddy, muddy!" Children of the Lord. So Noah, he built him, he built him an arky, arky. Noah, he built him, he built him an arky, arky. Made it out of hickory barky, barky. Children of the Lord. The animals, they came on, they came on by twosies, twosies. The animals, they came on, they came on by twosies, twosies. Elephants and kangaroosies, roosies. Children of the Lord. ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wMQjYJdtwoc ) Good morning, everyone! A solid wall of water all last night sent local ark builders into high gear. It's most definitely Rainy Season although there is a bright sun and blue skies this morning. It should start to rain again late this afternoon... and every late afternoon for the next several weeks. It's nice that it always starts about the same time, so it's easy to deal with. It's a big mug of extra smoky Lapsang Soushong tea from McNulteys this morning. Perfect drink while looking at rivers of water streaming down the streets from the mountain right beside the city! And another good day for a long walk with an audio book and then some music with friends. Charlie, good luck with your new job! I hope it all works out the way you want it to! Stitchawl |

Milk with a salad. We have not bought lettuce in the last six weeks because the garden has been producing more then enough. Now the onions are coming in. Soon the peppers, tomatoes and squashes.

Thanks, everyone. First day went as well as could be hoped, and then had a long dinner with the CEO last night. I'm encouraged, and I think it's going to work. A lot to do, and my hours are strictly limited, but we'll just nibble away at it.
I brought my tea strainer and my Lion Mountain Keemun, so that helped. One more day here working locally, and then I can head back home. |

Cool. It sounds like a challenge and a steady pay check. A good combination
Coffee in my cup. Now some water. Soon some tea. |

Glass of Pinot Grigio. Just came back from a nice Indian restaurant and having a little relax before bed.
We were celebrating both Mrs B and I securing new jobs. |

Thank you.
Thanks kk. Short version. Previous job caused stress related cardiac and blood pressure issues so took a pay off to leave in April. Medication and rest has stabilized that, so I've gone back to work for a guy I worked for many years ago but always kept in touch with as we got on really well together. The role itself is similar, but the problems with the last job were more personal relationship based. Second glass of Pinot Grigio in hand |

It was the third of June, another sleepy, dusty Delta day
I was out choppin' cotton and my brother was balin' hay And at dinner time we stopped and walked back to the house to eat And Mama hollered out the back door "y'all remember to wipe your feet" And then she said "I got some news this mornin' from Choctaw Ridge" "Today Billie Joe MacAllister jumped off the Tallahatchie Bridge" ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xYIkOyooATY ) Good morning, everyone. A good philosophical question to ponder for this June 3rd... Just what DID she throw off the Tallahatchie Bridge? Hmmm..... I'll puzzle over this as I drink unbranded Keemun tea and plan out my day. Gonna be hot this afternoon... Maybe a good day for a ride through the jungle after my walk. Go fast enough and perhaps I can out run the heat? Stitchawl |
