To Read "The Hobbit" and "A Song of Fire and Ice"

Reserved! Before the year ends, I plan to read "A Christmas Carol" and "Persuasion"

I want to read these books next year:
-The Hobbit
-A Song of Fire and Ice (I cheated and read the first, then the second book, and jumped to the last book. I want to read it all again before the new series starts)
  1. Bossypants
  2. The Martian
  3. Girl of Nightmares

To read 200 books

Having finished my 150 book goal before the middle of December, and designating 2015 as "The Year of Juvenile Fiction", I'm going to increase my goal to 200 books. I'm keeping the companion/concurrent goal of 50,000 pages! So even though I'll be reading more books, the tween/teen books tend to have fewer pages on average.

Other goals:
* Finish 3 series: Elm Creek Quilts by Jennifer Chiaverini, Brother Cadfael by Ellis Peters, and Kris Longknife by Mike Shepherd. 36 of 36 books
* Review 42 SF items. This is not solely a book/reading goal, includes podcasts, TV shows, movies, short stories, essays, interviews, etc. 17 of 42

To read 52 books

My goal for 2014 was 60 books. However, I'm at 48 books right now. Taking grad classes has interfered with my reading time, so I'm a bit behind.

I want a reachable goal (especially since I'll be taking 1 more grad class this year than last), so I am going to reduce the number to a book per week.

A sub-goal will be 1 print book per month.

To read 10,000 'pages'

QUIT

After finishing Musashi in december last year, I haven't picked up my Kindle even once... owing do to listening to music, watching movies, and replaying some old games I finally want to finish at least once/one more time.

This time, I'll read when I read, and won't read when I don't.
