I re-watched the TV series last weekend. Entertaining enough, but nothing like the books. When the next one's due out I plan to re-read the series one after the other.

That's a great experience. I did it while waiting for 'Ghost Story' to be released last year.

Cool The Dresdenverse compared to the Potterverse
I've just begun re-reading Harry Potter, Year 7 and as i progress I am constantly being reminded that the Potterverse has apparition whereas the Dresdenverse does not.

Dresdenverse has ways through the nevernever, sort of like the flue network but far more dangerous, and it's not a point to point connection. One may leave the way, voluntarily or not.

Some nonhumans in the Dresdenverse seem to be able to pop up anywhere in the mortal world. Could be they just know a lot more ways in the nevernever than any wizards do.

I think that I'll wait another year or two before I do this. My TBR pile is getting larger as I've been reading some PD books while continuing to buy non-PD books.

I finished Turn Coat last night as well (spooky!).

The changed relationship was an initial surprise, but is a demonstration, really, of Harry's character. He seems to be obsessed with doing the 'right thing', even where that means risking everything to help a former enemy. It makes him unpredictable to us normal folk and, for me, makes the books enjoyable.
