Sure. I would be happy to read a 500 page book that looks like the height requirement sign of a carnival ride! I REALLY have to learn how to embed fonts now, just in case... *shudders*

Too much of what is read is not worth remembering even 5 minutes after reading so why encourage remembering?

This was so difficult for me to read that by the time I finished reading the second post, I couldn't remember what the first post said.

That's funny. I change the font every time I read a new e-book because I like the variety. I was on vacation reading by the pool and someone asked about my e-book reader so I was showing them how it worked in direct sunlight and I realized it was set to Comic Sans. I was embarrassed and changed it to a more standard Times New Roman font and the person said they liked the other font I had because it was much easier to read. To each their own.

No, I outgrew Comic Sans back in the Win95 days.
Since we're talking fonts, my pet peeve are books that are printed in the fonts that would have been used in British newspapers for serialized novels at the time of their original printing. Publishers of Sherlock Holmes stories and Charles Dickens novels are often guilty of this. I find those fonts hard to read and tiring. |

What a choice - I don't like Comic Sans that much, but I absolutely loathe Arial, so of the two I'll always go with whatever font isn't Arial.
