2 lines in one toc entry
the text looks like this:
1. A Beginning how can i get a toc to display this: 1. A Beginning without having to reformat the text in the book. also: the text looks like this: Part IV. It Continues Chapter 13. A possible Answer how can i get a toc to display this: Part IV. It Continues Chapter 13. A Possible Answer and not translate to mobi with a chapter break between the two? i've been googling for these answers for the past 2 hours. |

You could also try:

Blah, Blah, Blah">Chapter 13.</h3> <p class="subheading">Blah, Blah, Blah</p> So if you have a multi-line heading that uses different formatting for the chapter number and the rest (e.g. different font sizes, etc) you can have a bit more control on the layout. At least that's what I've found. |

Hi Alan-
If you have CSS statements like "page-break-before:always;", you have to be careful where you put them. If they are in the definition of a header, then two <h> together can cause the double page you are talking about.(not in all epub readers!) Just a thought - John |
