Anyone know the status of the British Library plans to distribute free ebooks
Early this year the British Library announced that they were going to make ebooks of their 19th century collection available for free--1st through Amazon and then elsewhere. But I haven't heard anything since. Then the other day I saw an Amazon listing for a POD hard copy of an obscure novel that stated it was scanned from the British Library collection. Have they changed their plans? Does anyone know the status of this effort?
I read a lot of 19th century fiction and there are some obscure titles that are only available in that library. |
