shipping to Japan - how much $$$?

how much is shipping to Japan? On the website (accessed from Japan) it gives the price in sterling as ￡245 + ￡10 shipping to the UK, no option to change destination. I emailed contact@bookeen.com yesterday but no answer yet.

They're shop tells me (in Japan) that shipping is 5,314￥. The cybook itself is 47,800￥.

My problem is that they don't let you select your billing address as being separate from you shipping. My billing address is in the States right now, but I'm in Japan. I've emailed them about it but still haven't received an answer.

once I registered with their site I got the price in yen, same as you. I wonder if it will accept a UK Visa debit card (with Japanese billing address) ok.

Most online merchants will only ship to the registered billing address of the card. I am a Visa/Mastercard merchant myself, and my contract with them says that I'm only allowed to ship to the billing address. If I ship to any other address, I'm not covered against fraudulent transactions.
