Kobo Kids Store
Just got an email regarding the Kobo store. Apprently they have a Kids Store now.
http://www.kobo.com/kidstore?utm_sou...sStarterPackCA Guess this should help some of the people that had issues with Adult content and who can blame them. At least Kobo has listened. So what do you Guys think of the New Kids store? regards Jack |

But it doesn't matter; my issue before was caused by the fact I wasn't logged in. Everything is fine now. |

The tl;dr version:
Kobo Kid's store limits a kid's account to only child and YA titles. It also limits how much a kid can spend; the parent account has to give the kid account the equivalent of gift cards. I don't like how it treats the accounts as separate, but this is a good first step for Kobo. |

About time, I've mentioned this before in other discussions.

Actually it's been about a month or so since this started. I actually started a thread about it
...but it died and got buried on the page |

Nah, I had been so happy about informing people of something new that addressed some concerns they'd had (children seeing semi-indecent covers for books which could be semi-indecent for their age or completely indecent) but got no traction
But I am a firm believer in avoiding multiple threads for the same topic (especially if both the threads, or more if there are more, are of manageable length). I.E. I don't see the point of three threads for covers for the Aura...despite my having participated in at least two of the three |
