How do I avoid notification for news fetch tasks
Platform: debian testing/unstable
LXDE calibre 0.9.30 I have three tasks that fetches news sites and creates an epub. Calibre notifies the LXDE when each job starts and when each job ends. I would like to turn these notifications off, but I haven't found anywhere to do so. Is there a setting I could use to switch them off? Thanks! - Steinar |

I did one more google for the issue and, this time I found this thread which looks promising..
I check marked the unchecked "Disable notifications in the system tray", so come tomorrow I will see if that was sufficient. |

Yep, checkmarking "Disable notifications in the system tray" in Preferences->Look and Feel worked: today calibre had downloaded my three news sources and created nice epubs, without any new notifications in the LXDE system tray.
Aaaah! Quiet! |
