Question Mobipocket

Hi everybody.
I'm a iLiad 2nd user from China. After update the software to 2.12, I found that there is no Mobipocket for iLiad installed. I called the Custom Service, and I've been told that the Mobipocket founction has been closed for Chinese users. I do wann the RSS Syn founction in Mobipocket and reader it in iLiad.
Anyoen who can help me? Thanks a lot!

RSS Syn function seems missing in the iliad version of mobipocket.

There are people who successfully transferred a Chinese iliad into an european version. joyceshi for one did.

Roughly, you need to reflash your iliad first and then update through the european ids server.

You can find relevant posts about reflash using CF card in this forum. and methods of contacting european server in other Chinese forums, like: bbs.mobread.com

It turns out that you have to subscribe RSS feeds in your PC mobipocket reader and then sync/transfer the news feeds content to the mobipocket reader of your iliad.

So, yes, you can use the RSS function of mobipocket reader on your iliad this way. Of course, you need to install mobipocket on your chinese iliad first.

But since you've figured out your own way out of this, with feedbook, I guess you won't bother with installing mobipocket any more.

(BTW, I installed the mobipocket mainly for the intergrated dictionary function.)
