Hi, from Saskatchewan
Hi, I can't seem to dowload any books, so I'm hoping that all I need to do is satisfy a meglomaniac code-writer, by posting a thread on here, so his site will allow me to download a free book.. here goes nothing..

Welcome to MobileRead, rodd
I see you have "non" listed on your device description. If you want to download books from here without one, you need to download mobipocket reader, or Calibre first. I hope that answers your question. "meglomaniac code-writer"?? |

Good to have your company, Rodd. Yep, if you have no ebook-dedicated reading device yet, I'd recommend downloading the free Calibre library software to store, catalogue and open books in ebook formats like ePub and Mobi by using the 'view' function. These will then display on your PC or laptop as would a PDF. And, perhaps, you have a smartphone or iPod that would handle some digital formats. Good luck and best wishes. Neil
