Changing the language metadata
Hi there,
I'm new at using Calibre, and I can't seem to find how to change the language metadata of a book. I am french, my Calibre interface is in french and it sets french as the language of my books when I convert them into mobi files for reading on my kindle, even if the metadata of the original file says it's english. The problem is, I like to read in english to improve my english, but because the metadata says it's a french book, the built-in dictionnary feature of my kindle looks up the words in the french dictionnary... which is not very helpful ^^ Thank you in advance ! Actually I found a workaround : I switch the language of the whole Calibre interface to english before converting english books. That way, it automatically changes their language metadata into english.
I still wish there was a field in the metadata options for language. |
