OK, this is the joke that at this week's Edinburgh Comedy Festival, won a prize as the best one-liner...

Rumour has it that Cadbury's are launching a new chocolate bar in China, they haven't decide yet, it might be a Chinese Whispa

A 'Wispa' is a type of chocolate bar already sold in the UK. If Cadbury made it in China, it would be a Chinese Wispa (remember that the joke started by saying he had heard a rumour - or whisper).

This joke clearly doesn't travel well

No it doesn't, but thanks for explaining it. Although I now understand it, I still have a hard time accepting it as the top joke, but taste differs.
