IQ Does the IQ 701 have a metal case?

Hello to all. I have read several posts claiming that the IQ 701 has a metal case. I have owned my IQ for a couple of months, and I honestly cannot tell. The texture of the casing seems like a thick plastic, but I am not sure. Any definitive word on the issue? Thanks.

Plastic ... I opened up the back cover many times and I can tell you that it is plastic.

I can see where your coming from, it weighs enough to make you believe it could be.

All plastic.

not all plastic...

It often produces static electricity when I touch it with dry hands. (Kind of annoying...)
I'm sure that the colored part is plastic and the silver part is metalic.
Anyway there is no way to avoid static eletricity...
