Recommendations for a Willie Vlautin fan?
I've read and really enjoyed all of Willie Vlautin's novels, but am looking for a similar author to enjoy. Even though I'm Australian, I so relate to his gritty tales of small town America. As an example (although an entirely different genre) I recently read a couple of Ramsey Campbell's so-called horror novels. The characters were so talky and one dimensional I wanted to strangle them! I also love James Lee Burke and for a bit of Scottish flavour, Stuart Macbride.
