Black on Black IN Black

When I got my PRS-600 I was like many pretty disappointed with the pouch it came with rather than a cover. I had searched a bit for a PRS-700 cover as I liked the leather look and feel to it as well as the flexibility to fold it back like the 505 cover. I had been prepared to have to let go of my Pouch as the 700 didn't fit in it, but I liked the protection of the cover at least.

I feared the Leather covers that would be released for the 600 would be like the Leather covers Sony sold for the 505, nice, great looking, but can't fold back.

Then a few reviews by some very helpful members that received their covers and showed the flexibility is just fine (Thanks folks )

So after waiting and waiting for my Sony Style Store to stock the leather cover for the PRS-600 I finally got one yesterday. I love the fit and finish, nice grain to the look, as others have said....Sony indented on the front, Reader indented on the back, perfect flexibility to fold it over, and now something I could feel safe clipping my Book Light to.....AND although a little tall, fit's nicely in my Pouch for an extra layer of protection

And of course I went with the Black PRS-600, the Black Cover, and the Black Pouch, I like the low key conservative look

It looks beautiful. I myself is a red girl, so I'm hoping the PRS-2121 comes in red and also a red cover so I can have red on red.

This is a quick cheap easy fix. My EBW1150 came in a pouch, so I slid a piece of cardboard in there on the breakable screen side, and it protected it great.

Ab Fab ! This is exactly the feeling I'd like for the cover of my PRS-300, still looking though.

Really, very very nice !

I had originally bought my Pouch back in 2007 for my PRS-500, since then it has fit the 505 AND of course my 600, the only one it DIDN'T fir was the 700 as the thickness of the 700 made the pouch too tight for it.

One thing I do remember with the company that makes the pouch is they are a VERY small business. When I ordered my Pouch I hadn't received it right away, and I had never received any confirmation emails stating they had received my payment nor with a delivery date. I had called a week later to find he had eye surgery, apologized, got to work on it and shipped it. He originally sent it to me sized for without the cover when I very specifically asked for it to be sized WITH the cover, then sent me out a replacement that was just slightly short, but do-able.

So just know to be patient with them as it is a small mom and pop. I may have to talk to my Aunt that is good with making things like these and create a little competition for them

Anyway, there was a really good discussion here:

I purchased "the Pouch" on the 19th of December and received an email that my order and payment was received. It did take about two weeks to receive it with the holidays, but it fits my 600 with the lighted cover perfectly and gives me that extra measure of protection.
