Das heutige Kindle-Weihnachtsgratisbuch hat laut Werbebeschrieb anerkennende Erwähnung in folgenden literarischen Fachorganen gefunden:

Mindener Tageblatt - Hannoversche Allgemeine Zeitung - Giessener Zeitung - Nordwest-Zeitung - Evangelische Zeitung - Sonntagsjournal Bremerhaven - Stadtkind hannovermagazin - alphafrauen.org - Norddeutsches Handwerk - hallo-buch.de

Zufälligerweise kommt die Autorin aus Hannover, die Handlung des Kriminalromans spielt in Cuxhaven.

Das ist anscheinend beim Versenden von Gratisexemplaren und Pressemappen eine wichtige Information..

Bisher fand ich nur "Der Präsident" interessant, ein Roman ein bischen nach John Grisham Art. Den Inhalt kannte ich schon aus dem Film "Absolute Power", dem Lesespaß tats trotzdem keinen Abbruch.
Falls noch nicht bekannt oder auch schon wieder vergessen: bei ciando.com gibts jeden Donnerstag ein Gratis ebook.

Ich habe gerade zufällig bei Golem.de gelesen, dass Adobe die etwa 7 Jahre alte Software-Suite CS 2 (Photoshop 9, Acrobat Pro 8 usw.) als kostenlosen Download (ohne Support und Sicherheits-Updates) anbietet.

Diese Software-Suite ist u. U. für Anwender mit Netbooks und älteren Computern von Interesse, weil sie ursprünglich für Windows XP optimiert wurde und selbst die neueste Version von GIMP noch immer nicht mit Photoshop konkurrieren kann. (Auf neueren Computern sind einige der Programme anscheinend nur im Administrator-Modus lauffähig.)

Die Ebooks gibt es übrigens bei mehreren Shops auch kopierschutzfrei (ciando, ebook.de, beam). Bei Amazon???
