"On Dark Shores: The Lady"

Hey all:

I just uploaded my debut novel two weeks back and it occurred to me that I hadn't told anyone here about it... so bumf follows.

"The Lady" is the first instalment in the fantasy series “On Dark Shores”. (The second book, “The Mother” is due out over the summer.)

It got 5 stars on its only Amazon review so far:

“This book feels like it’s not nearly long enough, and I can't wait for the next part to come out. It's great fantasy, quite dark and gripping.”

The blurb:

It is ten years after the Shantar-Mardonese war. In the harbour town of Scarlock, dominated by the moneylender Copeland, the outside world seems far away; but events are in motion that will bring the world to Scarlock.

To protect her sister, the thief Nereia must take desperate measures which will catapult her into a place of nightmare and legend.

Before long, she will find herself On Dark Shores; and the choices she makes will shape the future of the world she knows as well as the world she has yet to discover.

If it appeals, do check out the sample, and all feedback is good.

Thanks for your patience!
