It makes accessing the forum from a handheld device simpler and more convenient. I use it every now and then and it's pretty good.

Tapatalk is amazing on a handheld device. To be honest, I almost prefer browsing forums on my phone than I do on my computer. For a reading device forum, Mobileread was shockingly slow to add Tapatalk support. Better late than never I guess.

I got a couple versions of tapatalk for free a while back and tried them for a while. Aside from being confused about the different versions, I did not find them of any particular value to me. I found forum use no easier than with my phone's browser, and I had access to fewer forum features. I uninstalled them.

I use the HD version and like it much...I bought it a while back...it is a must for my tablets and phone
