Great stuff.

Can you point us to some resources you have used for rooting?
Can you give us a list of programs known to work on your device and also list of programs known to have problem? Please.

There is no forum for rooting of the new Touch model. All is discussed in forums for Nook Color and it is often unclear what works only on Nook Color and what works also on Nook Touch.

Don't care for the slow flashing on screen--is there any way to speed it up? Is this a function of android vs linux system? Kobo said they will update their new reader to let the customer choose the #cycle/flash speed. Will be interesting to see the difference.

That will be great if we can modify the cycle/flash speed.
