Device not detected - Samsung Galaxy Note

Hi All,

Was hoping someone might be able to point me in the right direction.

I have a Galaxy Note, which connects and syncs perfectly with my PC, but I have not been able to get Calibre to recognise it. I did some digging a while ago and read some 'noise' about Android devices having issues and thought that was that.. Tonight I was charging my wifes' rubbish little Samsung Gio (android) phone and there at the bottom of my Calibre window - Calibre recognised the device - I didn't even know that it did that.

So, having checked my plug-ins are correct (and having read the sticky) I have run the device debug - which is below but basically says it can't find anything, I am asking the community if there are any tweaks or tricks I can use to get my Note recognised by Calibre.

Calibre can only interface to devices that can make themselves seen as if they were a USB drive.

Do you have Kies enabled? Are you on Android 2.3 or have you upgraded to Android 4.0? If you're still on 2.3, I think you can just switch from Kies to USB Mass Storage in USB settings.
