How does printing a voucher on the reciept for a 505 state that it is unrestrictive?

The characters used in the "code" are irrelevant in this issue. It depends on the wording of the voucher.

Admittedly Sony did a useless job of securing it from abuse but thats neither here nor there.

Ricoaz, I agree 100%/ Yes, Sony/Borders made a mistake of using the same code for everyone. But that is still no reason to steal it and use it when you are legally not entitled to use it. People trying to justify it are just wrong and they have still stolen the credit and then the eBooks. And the problem is that this was a limited offer and some legitimate people had difficulty using the code because too many crooks/thieves used it when they were not supposed to.
