Exporting book lists

OK, fairly new with Calibre (thanks SO much for this app) and maybe I'm missing the obvious. Is there a way to export a list of the books in the library?

Ideally an HTML export that links various fields, etc., but even just a plain list would be great to dump to paper or a BB or whatever and have a basic list of "what I own" for comparison sake when I can't be near the machine.

Sorry if this is a dupe... I did search a bit for it :-)

I think that:
calibre-db --list
in a command/terminal window will do what you want. You can always use the --help option with calibre-db to get the details of the possible parameters.

Hi there,

When I tried to do this, I got the following error:

C:\Windows\system32>calibredb list
id title authors

Python function terminated unexpectedly
(12, 'Not enough space') (Error Code: 1)
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "site.py", line 103, in main
File "site.py", line 85, in run_entry_point
File "site-packages\calibre\library\cli.py", line 910, in main
File "site-packages\calibre\library\cli.py", line 177, in command_list
IOError: [Errno 12] Not enough space

What should I do about this?

Thanks in advance.
