Look in the very very bottom of an MR forum page -- very bottom, in the footer bottom. You should see a combo box which lets you select between "fixed" and "liquid." A little meta community commentary on fixed-page vs. reflowable formats perhaps?

Actually, it might as well be, I use vimperator (though not in the screencaps which were from my wife's machine as I use a tiling window manager). vimperator has an etirely keyboard based interface, just like the good old DOS, err, actually Unix, days

That's perfect, if it works for you. But that makes PDF a sub-optimal format for distribution, since different people have different tastes and devices and needs. And some people may want to change format on the fly (enlarging font size at dusk, turning from portrait to landscape, reading on different devices...).

I do like well-made PDFs, but I understand it's better to distribute reflowable formats.
