505 not seen in my computer or device manager

I got a blue screen of death, and now when I attach my reader to my computer with USB, the reader is not detected, the memory cards also so not show up under my computer.

I have checked the Device Manager, and the reader is not detected there either.

Looking in Disk Manager the Memory Cards are not shown as unalliocated space.

So my reader is literally not being seen.

Since there is no 'USB Driver' for the 505 I'm a bit stumped as to what the heck is going on. Any Ideas?

Not to worry, I got corruption on BOTH memory cards attached to my reader, I ran chkdsk on boot, via the msconfig tab.

Both cards were checked for errors along with my other local drives, when I booted into Windows, all was well again.

This might help someone in the future
