Kindle Paperwhite and a Stylus or equivalent

I just preordered myself a Kindle Paperwhite in the UK, and it'll be my first touch-screen Kindle. However, I suffer from skin problems, which mean I have to smear myself in all kinds of moisturisers a couple times a day, and I don't want to take a chance on smearing the stuff all over my new ereader just after I've been applying the stuff to my skin if I decide to have a read.

Hence my question: can you use a stylus, or anything else, to hit the page turns if there are times you don't want to touch the screen?

If it is a similar type touch system to that used by the iPad and other tablets, then there are specialised styli that work.

Just pulled out one of my el-cheapo styli I use with my iPad sometimes, and it works on the Kindle Paperwhite. I think I got this on Amazon (but shipped from HK), pack of 3 for a couple of bucks.

In short: an iPad/iPhone stylus of any quality should work.

Even better: I also just tried out flipping pages with the sleeve of my cotton shirt pulled over my hand and it worked as if there was nothing in-between my skin and the screen, but when I tried the sleeve of my wool sweater, it did not work.
