Your link is broken, BTW.
So retina-level display? and also super light? Sounds good. But, the iPad having a retina display necessitated at heavier battery. So I wonder what this does to the battery life (not to mention the cost). |

It's nice to see tablets heading in the direction of higher resolution! The old 166 ppi was simply unusable for me, brand did not matter. My eyes couldn't take it.
Wish the Nexus 7 had gone a bit higher on resolution, as is, I'm waiting to see what happens. Ideally, I'd like something closer to 300 ppi, but 243 at least hits a usable level. |

That new Nokia Lumia 920 phone seems to have a super-duper wowie display. The best, most realistic colors and the best sunlight readability of all LCD displays.

I want National Geographic Magazine type color pictures, or on a gray scale something like Ansel Adams will do.

And here I thought retina display meant a screen that was made from the tissue of human eyes.

it means your battery, your wallet and your retina will wear down fast.

Looks like B&N will be last to announce their fall offerings (well, apart from possible iPad mini). Wonder if the new tablet will be Android or Windows RT? Will they upgrade the Nook STR screen to 1024x768?
If the screen quality doesn't at least match Nexus7/FireHD it is a non starter, for sure. |

B&N better come out something pretty impressive to compete against the Nexus 7 and the Fire HD or it will be DOA.
