Kindle app - books on MicroSD?

Is it possible to move the mapp containing Kindle books over to a microSD card and then access the books from the app?
The phone has 1 GB (11 available) so it is in no way a problem at the moment, I'm just curious as to the possibility of accessing books from a removable MicroSD.
