central europe - embedded fonts

hi,
i read lots of threads here about conversions, fonts etc., but my problem is still unsolved

I'm trying to convert txt file2lrf, but im from central europe, exactly slovakia
And problem? Some special characters like ř, ť are impossible to display correctly

Everything looks OK in callibre's viewer, however in PRS 505 are mentioned characters missing... I tried to encode txt files also in encodings cp852, cp1250, iso8859_2 but the results weren't also satisfying

btw when i'm converting in callibre with utf-8 encoding this log appears
('UnicodeDecodeError', u"'utf8' codec can't decode bytes in position 24-26: invalid data"):
Failed to perform job: Convert book: Dostojevskij, Fjodor Michajlovic

so how am i supposed to edit txt file? or just how can i create txt which will be convertable?

sry for my eng, but i hope that the text above is understable, if there's any questions, just ask me

thx

li.

Ahoj,
I guess the easiest solution would be to re-flash your Sony Reader. Read this https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...hlight=prscust. I had the same problem and it worked like a charm.
Or you can convert your books to .pdf.

Indeed. Reflashing your reader to EE fonts (or using the "no-flash font hack") is the solution to your problem.
