Hi, Im from U.K. In the market for a first time e-reader and feel quite overwhelmed by all the choices. Dont want to make a mistake else I'll be stuck with it for long time. So, going to take my time reading all your good advice. Let you know what I decide.

Welcome, Wendy.
There are a lot of ebook readers out there. But if you let us know what you would like to do with it we can help you narrow it down a bit. Some want something small and convenient to carry around. Some want something large for technical reading (and lets face it, comic books). I love using a finger to "turn" the pages, others hate a touch screen. The Kindle is an option for you. But try to get one of the newer ones. I would choose one with the black plastic bezel as the bright white ones make the screen look too gray. Or save money by buying a used Kindle from someone who just has to have the latest and greatest. Just let us know what's most important to you. |
